Early in my investing journey, I realized I could recognize generational companies long before they were widely understood. Over time, I learned that finding them was the easy part. Staying with them — through the years when others lost patience — was where the real returns lived.
That lesson became the foundation of X Point.
It also led me to a deeper question: Why do a handful of leaders consistently see the future before everyone else?
The exceptional few share something deeper — a multi-decade view of the world, independent thinking, and the discipline to build through uncertainty. They don't react to change. They create it.
Over the past two decades, I've helped build technology companies as a CFO, public company director, and operator. Working alongside founders through hypergrowth, fundraising, M&A, and the public markets reinforced a simple observation: the companies that endure are rarely defined by a single product or strategy. They're defined by leaders who think differently.
But titles were never the lesson.
The greatest companies aren't built by chasing trends. They emerge when exceptional leaders solve structural bottlenecks that reshape industries.Finding those leaders — and having the patience to stay with them over decades— is where I believe enduring value is created.
X Point is the expression of that philosophy.
We study structural change, identify the leaders capable of driving it, and commit for the decades required to realize their vision.
